    Ugo was enthusiastic and nice with solid knowledge about volcanoes! I would recommend 100%. The tour was quite complete with the et a hike, the cave visit and the agroturismo stop for lunch

    I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Saro was really pleasant and knowledgeable. It was a small group, which allowed a more personalized experience. Trekking was a bit challenging at times and the heat didn’t help, so make sure you carry a bottle of water and take upon their offer for the trekking boots, as some areas can be slippery. The lunch was a bit disappointing, but the whole experience was well worth it. I highly recommend it.

    We were picked up on time, Sarò our guide was very knowledgeable and fun and it was well paced. The snack was a bit more it was a lovely Sicily sandwich.

    This tour is very interesting and our guide, Antonio, shared with us a plethora of facts and information about Mount Etna, her environment, volcanoes and volcanic activity in general. The excursion involved being driven from Taormina to approx 1800m up Etna, we then walked up a further 150 - 200m to see one of Etna’s old craters, but it’s not as bad as it sounds - it is fairly easy. The views are spectacular, even when the clouds came through in front of us. The second part of the tour is a short drive away to the old ice caves, where hard hats and head torches are provided. Finally we visited a winery, about 15 mins away down the slopes and had a lovely lunch and sampled the wine made right there. There were 8 in our group, which made it feel quite exclusive. Antonio kept us entertained with stories of his growing up in one of the villages on the mountainside, and his adventures of exploring the volcano, specifically during an eruption!

    The tour was well organized, everything from the pick up to the lunch was on time. The fact that they provide hiking shoes and equipment for the tour is a plus that I really appreciated. Our guide Nicola was really nice and made the experience fun and interesting.
