Traditional cheese and milk shop dating back from 1870 where Cacaolat was created. We will taste Cacaolat, their traditional chocolate drink they invented back in the 1930's.
Mercat de la Boqueria
Fruit and sweet sections in La Boqueria Market. Former old convent of St Joseph and market since 1840.
Escriba Rambla
Famous pâtisserie by chef Christian Escribà. This is where many cakes for famous people and important occasions such as U2 concert in Barcelona or Oscar-winner All about my mother film were done.
Plaza del Pi
Traditional outdoors food market on festivities. Gothic Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi.
Carrer Petritxol
Old cafés where the tradition of chocolate & churros/ melindros started. Famous art galleries. We will taste turrón delicacy, traditionally eaten during Christmas time.
Barcelona Cathedral
Cathedral square (outside), Roman walls. We will show the participants the Roman gate and walls and the front of the Cathedral of Barcelona.
La Colmena
Old pâtisserie. Famous for its merengues and candies. We will taste a candy produced in the old traditional way.

Basílica de Santa Maria del Mar
Gothic Basilica dating back to the 1300's (outside). We will explain how this church was built with people carrying stones on their backs from the hill of Montjuïc to downtown in order to make a sacrifice.

La Botifarreria de Santa Maria
Botifarres (sausages) shop famous its unique sweet and chocolate sausage.
Casa Gispert
Nuts store with the oldest roasting oven in Europe.
Brunells
Pâtisserie. Best Artisan Butter Croissant in Spain 2020. We will taste a traditional bakery product and see the centenary oven.
