    There have been no tour buses since the pandemic. Either you take a city bus and get to know Montevideo on your own, or you hire the services of an agency.

    Great way to see the city and neighborhoods. Took both the green line and blue line. What a fabulous city! Personnel on bus helpful.

    Great way to see the highlights of the city and the beach areas. Good narrative and not very busy. Can go back to areas you want to see.

    We took the bus on a rainy morning, so it worked out perfectly. We were able to see several tourist attractions. They offer two routes, and you can do both with the same ticket. The audio guide was excellent for understanding the city’s history. We were traveling with a teenager, so it was also a great way to avoid complaints about long walks to get to the sights. It’s not a must-do, but it’s a great option if it fits into your travel plans. We bought our tickets at the port, at a tourist information center. The service was excellent, and the purchase process was quick and secure. The price was great, considering the distance traveled. The bus was clean, enclosed, and accessible.
