    We thoroughly enjoyed this experience. We met "Zay" at the train station in Istanbul and proceeded to try one of the street foods on our way to the Dervish performance (I believe it was called raw meatball but it's actually bulgar, not meet - they were delicious!). The performance was about an hour and it was great to see the Whirling Dervishes. We were then driven to the restaurant for our meal which was fantastic! Zay was a wonderful guide providing us with lots of information about the performance and the various food we were trying at the restaurant ..... and there was plenty of food! I would highly recommend this experience - it was one of our favourites during our many tours in Turkey and Greece.

    This is a two-part experience: the very beautiful religious experience that is the Sufi dance, followed by a traditional dinner at a local Turkish restaurant. Our guides, Zeynep and Berna ("B") were absolutely delightful, informative, and truly fun to be around. They helped us understand what we would see in the Dervish experience, then at dinner, introduced us to many tastes that were new us. Both were eager to share their knowledge, their love of local food, and pride in Turkish traditions. They took us to some of their favorite food spots along the way. Very accommodating with our request for vegetarian offerings. At the end of the evening, we were dropped off at the cruise port, safe and secure. Thanks Zey and B!

    Excellent tour with Zeynep to see the Whirling Dervish. This was a very interesting event filled with religious symbolism. We would highly recommend this tour and guide.

    Sirkeci

    We will be meeting in front of Sirkeci Train Station. After sharing our tour itinerary, we will try several street foods on the way to the historic dervish venue. There will be a very short walk to the dervish show and before the performance we will give you brief information about the background of 800-year-old dervish performance, which is also marked under Unesco heritage and one of the must things to do in Turkey. The dervish show duration will be 1 hour.

    Following the dervish performance, our private transfer will take us to a 140-year-old kebab restaurant and we will taste the wonderful Turkish Food. (Unlimited Dinner: you will try 5 different kebabs, meze (tapas), salads, drink). Dinner will be finalized with tea/special coffee and traditional dessert. Notes: Vegetarian, vegan or gluten free option is available, please send us a message after reservation. (10 types of Turkish style vegeterian mezes) The price is all inclusive. You will not pay any extras.
