    It was a wonderful tour! We toured Transfăgărășan by motorbike, the scenery was truly spectacular. Claudia, who organized the trip, and Alex, our guide, were very helpful; they took care of everything and corrected any shortcomings in our driving, making the trip unforgettable. We came from Türkiye and we thoroughly enjoyed this experience. I would definitely recommend this unique route through Romania to anyone wanting to explore it by motorbike. We will be coming back soon to explore Transalpina with this team as well.

    The most crooked and challenging of Europe's roads for motorcyclists is called the Transfaragasan (Transfagarasan Pass – 2042m above sea level). Built between 1970 and 1974 as a military route, by communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu (after the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968) it snakes up the tallest peaks of the Carpathians.
