    Showed up at 11am as confirmation indicated. Place was completely closed except for 2 office people. They said it was impossible we had a reservation. I showed ticket but no time on it. I had to dig through many emails to find one that said 11am to 1 pm. She made a. Phone call and said we could come back at 6 pm. Luckily our schedule was open. We returned at 6. Only one car on entire property . The place was a bit run down…leaves everywhere. We see a door open but no other indication of activity or signage. We saw a guy who was friendly and smiling. He did not ask why we were there but when we asked he took us to a huge room with a long table set for 2 with wine glasses. In the end, excellent wine and value but it was very weird and uncomfortable to be only ones there. He said it was harvest time so no one was really doing tastings. It was just all awkward but we made the best of it’s and he was generous with pours.

    We booked this trip one day ahead of time after we arrived in Cortona. As we were preparing to leave for the wine tasting, we received a notice from the winery that they had cancelled our reservation with no explanation given.
