Our experience was wonderful. We lucked out with it being my friend and I being the only two on the excursion. Our guide, Kayla was so personable and kind. We loved getting to know her and appreciated how much knowledge of Roatan she shared, including local places to eat and shop. The monkey and sloths were so fun! We heard from others on our ship that went to different sanctuaries that didn’t have as much time or interactions with them. The beach was soft white sand and the water just the right temperature. We got there before it was too busy. When we were ready to head back to the port, Kayla was right there. We were dropped off right at the port. I wish we could give this a 10!

Loved all of it!!! People were so kind, the animals were fun to be around- nice facility. We went as an excursion for our cruise vacation. Highly recommended for families!

Eric was great he was open to us doing our own thing we stopped for pictures and went to see the sloths and monkeys 1st. Then we went to a chocolate factory and shopped a little. Last we finished at the beach. The beach was small but clean. We enjoyed our trip very much.

The excursion had its pros and cons. The pros the driver was fantastic he guided us to and from got us back on the ship early and even stopped so we can take pictures of the view and the roatan sign ! The west bay beach was beautiful we even saw starfish in the water, the water was crystal clear!! The con of that is you have venders hassling all the time while your just trying to enjoy your time on the beach ! You only get two hours at the beach . Now the sloth and monkey park or so they say it’s a park or “sanctuary” the pros of that you get to hold the monkeys and the sloths. The cons are they try to do the interactions soo fast all they care is that you buy pictures from them that they take of you ! The sanctuary is behind someone’s home !they mostly didn’t have much animals too see I don’t recommend that sloth and monkey place at all ! Overall roatan is beautiful would be coming back to Visit
