    I took this tour with my 16 year old daughter. The guides worked hard to make it a good experience. Unfortunately the water level was very low so the pace was really slow and overall not very exciting. It may be better depending on the time of the year.

    Whitewater rafting experience on Rio Tenorio with Mario was excellent! My family and I were traveling through Costa Rica and booked this excursion. Booking was simple and straightforward. From the moment we arrived all guides, including Mario treated us with first class service. My daughter was the youngest on the tour and she was a bit apprehensive. Mario made her feel very comfortable and she was laughing throughout the trip. These class three and four rapids were intense and lots of fun action was nonstop! Definitely booked this trip and if possible, recommend Mario!

    Juan and Mario were our guides and they were FANTASTIC!!! Learned a lot about the culture and nature of CR. Felt very safe as they were extremely experienced. Lunch after the rafting was delicious!!! Thank you thank you thank you!

    Highly recommend this excursion & this company! The trip was fantastic and our guide, Luis, was great!! When he wasn’t guiding us through the rapids, he was teaching us about Costa Rica and the many beautiful things the country has to offer. The food was top notch. This company is so well organized. They even take multiple pictures of you throughout your rafting trip so that you don’t have to worry about bringing a camera! 100% must do when in Costa Rica.

    Hotel Pick up You will be picked up from your hotel and journey to Canas, where you will prepare for your adventure. You will then load into a 4x4 and be taken 30 minutes to the launch point on Tenorio River Rafting down Tenorio River Experience rafting 12 kilometers (2 - 2.5 hours depending on river level & time of year) of the Tenorio River, passing through sections which are dominated by over 22 class III-IV whitewater rapids..   During the smoother sections, take a look around at the lush, forested scenery and try to spot tropical birds perched high in the trees the opportunity to see plenty of other wildlife along the way such as iguanas and monkeys.. This unique rafting tour finishes with the thrilling 12-foot waterfall drop called "Cascabel Falls.” When you arrive to the end of your exciting rafting journey at our private river exit, do a quick hike to the 4x4 vehicle to drive out of this isolated, unspoiled region of Costa Rica, and then head back to to the tour base in Canas. Costa Rica Style Lunch After arriving back to the tour base, you’ll then be treated to a delicious Costa RIca Style lunch called a Casado with rice, beans, salad, plantains, and choice of protien.  Dietary restrictions can be accommodated.  You will be able to use the changing rooms before heading on your way to your hotel in time for a glorious Pacific sunset.
