    It was an intimate wine tasting with carefully prepared tastes and lovely wine! The hostess/owner, Irena, spent time describing her family's history with the winery and guided us through the wines. We loved every minute of it and took a number of bottles home to share with family! I highly recommend a stop here- it lasted 1.5-2 hours and was a wonderful way to try delicious Slovenian wines!

    Such a lovely spot for wine tasting! We were able to stay on the site in the campervan for a reasonable price, which made the experience even more enjoyable, knowing we could fully indulge! The wine tasting itself was fabulous, with some excellent snacks to try with the many wines. Irena (unsure of the spellings) had so much to tell us about the fascinating stories behind the wines and their flavours. It was great to experiment with the food to find the best fit. 2 hours flew by! The spot was wonderful in the evening to see the stars come out, and enjoyable in the early morning to walk through the vineyard.

    The tasting room had a cozy athmospere and it was really interesting to listen to the story behind the wines. Not only did we try nine wines, we also got delicious local snacks to go with it. We spent the night in our camper next to the winery. A great expetirnce

    We went there on a sunny May afternoon and were surprised that the tasting was just for the two of us plus another couple from Finland. We got a there tour through their wines and lot of background knowledge about wine and wine making. The wines and the huge variety of snacks were delicious and well selected! Definitely worth going there!

    The tales about the history of Slovenia and the explanations about the wines were very interesting. The owner also explained in detail the technical issues of the vici and the appetizers were very good and plentiful

You will learn about the Vipava valley, its specifics in geography, history and of course wine and gastronomy. During the wine tasting you will taste 5+ (usually 7) different wines, all produced by the Lepa Vida winery (Matija takes care of winemaking). The wines are joined by a selection of homemade seasonal snacks (everything prepared by Irena), homemade salami and/or similar dried meat products, bread and water. Enough to make sure you don't get hungry during the winetasting. If you have any dietary restrictions, don't forget to mention them when booking! Make sure to take your time and don't be in a hurry! See you at Lepa Vida! p.s. At the end of the wine tasting you can also purchase all of the wines either to take with you or to get them shipped to your home.
