A trip to Jogja would be be incomplete without going to Borobudur and Prambanan temple. We were in awe looking at the beautiful architecture of the temples. The guide was informative and had a sense of humour making the information delivered engaging. We were given complimentary slippers and water when we arrived. The sunset as the background was truly magical and breathtaking. Would like to thank our tour operator from Jogja tour package for arranging out itinerary according to our request. Our driver was very helpful, friendly and informative . He went the extra mile to ensure we are well taken care of throughout our stay in Jogja. Both temples are so majestic and surreal. Prambanam Temple sunset is so beautiful. Our guide from CV Jotu Indonesia was the best.

Our guide was Ilham. He brought us to Borobodur, Prambanan and the sultan palace. The experience was perfect in every detail and we must be thankful to Ilham for this who explained us so many things about his beautiful country and all the places we were visiting.

Borobudur climb up tour and Prambanan temple tour:
Our Two temple tour day trip was personalized to fit our needs. Our guide was amazing. We communicated on whatsapp for arrangements and it was easy, efficient and detailed. As soon as we were finished with one temple, we messaged him for pickup and he was there waiting with cold water and was very accommodating the entire day.
Our driver first picked us up from the hotel and relayed exactly where we were going first. He was fluent in English which was a plus! He confirmed our trip details for the day and if we wanted to add anything here or there or change anything he was so accommodating and helpful with our every need. Our first stop was the Borobudur temple. I’m happy we got here first thing in the morning as it was hot. Make sure to wear light colored clothing and bring a hat and light scarf to cover yourself from the sun. Our guide Vega checked us in and we were able to walk around the temple and take pictures before it even opened. He then guided us to the area where we were meeting our tour guide and group. At this point, everyone’s needs to change into the shoes given by the temple for the tour onto the temple grounds. Our guide then made sure we were comfortable, gave us more water and took our sneakers and bags back to the car while we went on the tour. The temple was just breathtaking. And our temple tour guide there made the tour so interesting and fun.
We then proceeded to lunch at the most beautiful restaurant! This was a pleasant surprise as it was almost a site to visit in itself!
The next stop were the Prambanan and Candi Sewu temples. This took a few hours as the grounds are large. It was hot here as well so make sure to bring a hat and water with you. And there were lots of people here. Again, our guide was so informative and explained the history of the temples and told us exactly where to enter and to just WhatsApp him when we are done and he’ll be waiting.
