The Chapel of Apparitions and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity are different places of worship within in the Sanctuary and allow visitors to tour. Don’t miss the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, which holds the tombs of the now-deceased children who witnessed the apparition - Saint Francisco Marto, Saint Jacinta Marto and sister Lucia.

Castelo de Ourem

Tour the striking Ourém Castle. Views are amazing - walking is a bit more chanllenging. A bit neglected it still offers a real vibe of how life in the Medievel Ages was !

Convento de Cristo

This UNESCO classified site is an amazing piece of architecture, overlaying different architectural styles. It was at this monument that the Templars were headquartered in Portugal, that king Phillipe II of Spain became the first of Portugal - and to top all that, it has one of the few examples of Renaissance architecture in Portugal. It's also at Tomar that we'll do our lunch stop either before or after visiting this amazing monument !
