Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic and accommodating. She was very knowledgeable about all the cites and made great recommendations for lunch. I Had the best mussels I ever had in my life in a small fishing town. She was extremely pleasant and went out of her way to find me the best Carmel in the region. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

My husband is a WWII buff and enjoyed this tour very much. (It was also eye-opening for me to be reminded of the loss and sacrifice.) Gustavo is a wonderful guide, easy to spend the day with, and is extremely knowledgable not just about Normandy, but about politics, art and more. It's worth a day trip from Paris to visit Normandy!

This trip is for people who like history, but it has beautiful landscapes as well. The guide is great, he knows deeply about the D day and second war subjects.

As a history buff, my husband was in his glory. Our guide, Anne-Claire Bailly, was very knowledgeable making the ride to and from Paris fun and interesting. The site was incredibly somber, fascinating and beautiful. Our children found a new respect for the history of this area. It was visit worth taking.

Anne-Claire Bailly was a wonderful tour guide. She provided us with so much information and history. She worked tirelessly to ensure we saw everything we wanted to and more. It was a long ride to Normandy but the time went by quickly. We stopped to pick up lunch half way there and had a beautiful picnic lunch on the beach. It was a bucket list adventure for my husband and myself and our 6 children left with a profound respect of this historical area.

This was a wonderful tour that should not be missed. Our Guide Milan was very knowledgeable and engaging. The tour itself was a delight. However, we did have some issues. When I booked the tour I gave our hotel and it’s address for pick up. When I printed the voucher it requested, in red type, that I confirm our pick up with the tour company. I attempted before leaving on our trip but got only a recording in French. I requested help from the booking co., who promised to email and copy me on the response. This did not happen. Upon arriving in Paris the day before, I spent plenty of time attempting to confirm with the help of our hotel. When this was unsuccessful, we contacted the booking company again and they eventually put us in touch with our guide. The tour company never gave the guide the address of our hotel. This caused a significant delay in starting the tour, since there are several hotels in Paris by the same name. Our tour felt rushed. We are not sure if that was due to the late start. Our guide really did his best to make sure we did not miss anything though. So, the communication issues were frustrating, stressful & time consuming. But, the tour itself was amazing.

We had the pleasure of spending the day touring the Normandy landing beaches and surrounding area with Gustavo. We were debating about going on a small group tour but are so happy that we went with the private option instead. Gustavo picked us up at our hotel exactly on time and his vehicle was high-end and impeccably clean. He tailored the tour to meet the needs of our family. Although my husband and I had previously visited Normandy, our children (ages 12 and 14) and never been there and pelted him with lots of questions. He was patient and very knowledgeable about the entire area. He adjusted the itinerary to meet our needs/requests, spending less/more time at certain spots per our wishes. It was a jam packed day, and we fit in in-depth visits to three of the landing beaches (Omaha, Juno, and Sword), Pointe du Hoc, and the American cemetery, among other stops. This was an excellent tour that we highly recommend for all ages. Thank you, Gustavo!!

My husband and I had both been to Normandy before- This time, we returned with our children, ages 15, 13 and 9. We opted for the private tour, in light of having children along. Our guide was Milan, who passionately, articulately, and accurately was able to set the stage for each battle, break down landscapes, strategies, historical significance of each location in such a way that we all walked away knowing so much more about D-Day and the battle for France. As a driver, he was an artist in both traversing the countryside and the crazy city streets of Paris. I had never driven around the Arc de Triumph before, but there we were. This trip was worth every penny, and truly changed my children's view of war, loss, battle, heroes, etc. Thank you.
