Your Itinerary

Louvre / Palais-Royal

Depending on where I pick you up, we may start the tour with a sightseeing of the Louvre museum then we go and admire the Palais Royale Gardens, Columns of Buren, the Arago Medallions, and the Little Canon. We pass by the Comédie Francaise and the Café Nemours in Place Colette (as featured in the film 'The Tourist'). We then take a glance at the Opera Garnier which is currently being renovated.

Ile de la Cite

Next we go to the Ile de la Cité: At Place Chatelet, we are greeted by the Fontaine de la Victoire and the Tour St Jacques. We then cross Pont au Change to the boat-shaped island called the Ile de la Cité. We enjoy the sights of the river Seine (we can see the Invalides in the distance) and appreciate the majestic Conciergerie with its beautiful clock tower and the Sainte Chapelle before we head on to say hello to Quasimodo at Notre Dame.

Eiffel Tower

Next stop is the Eiffel Tower (outside). You can’t possibly set foot in Paris for the first time without seeing the famous Eiffel Tower.

Arc de Triomphe

We are at the Arc de Triomphe and regal in its pomp and majesty. We visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with the eternal flame forever reminding us of their bravery and chivalry. Also in front of our eyes is the world-famous avenue, the Champs Elysées.

Moulin Rouge

The home of the can-can, we pass by this (outside) on our way to the Sacre Coeur.

Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre

And finally, we take the funiculaire up to the Sacre Coeur and get up close to it. We then look at the views of Paris from up the hill of Montmartre. We then head back to your hotel or your indicated return point within Paris. You may want to go shopping or to make further touristic visits for the day; if so, your metro day pass is valid til midnight. At the end of the tour, you would have been able to relish the top famous sights of Paris at such a short time! You would also have gotten familiar with the Paris public transport.
