If you're near a Metro station, take Line 4 (the purple line) towards Mairie de Montrouge. Get off at the Cité station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs towards Île de la Cité, which is just a short walk away. You'll find yourself at the entrance to the island, with Notre-Dame Cathedral prominently in front of you.

If you're near a train station, take the RER B (the blue line) towards Robinson or Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse. Get off at Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame station. From there, follow the signs to exit towards Notre-Dame. Cross the bridge (Pont Saint-Michel) to reach Île de la Cité. The cathedral will be directly ahead.

You can take Bus Line 21, 24, or 27, which all have stops near Île de la Cité. If you take Line 21, get off at the stop named 'Notre-Dame – Palais de Justice.' From there, walk towards the river, and you will see the entrance to Île de la Cité and Notre-Dame Cathedral.

If you're in the Latin Quarter, it's a lovely walk to Île de la Cité. Head towards the Seine River and walk along the riverbank. Cross the Pont Saint-Michel bridge, and you'll arrive directly on the island. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Seine and the historic buildings as you approach.
