This company from start to finish were excellent.
So helpful and friendly.
My husband also did a solo cycle with Pedro who is a fantastic guide.
He also was our guide on the mount vesuvius trip.
If you are anyway active this is the best way to view mount vesuvius the views are outstanding and cycling down the hill is breathtaking with the support of Pedro.

We thoroughly enjoyed the ebike ride with Peter up the mountain. We were only give 1 hr 10mins to see the crater, which we didn't feel was long enough. The additional walk up and down to get to the crater took up a lot of time, as a result, we were later returning to meet Peter

Fantastic Vesuvius bike ride. Peter was a great tour guide - very friendly & made the ride great fun. Peter collected us from our hotel in Sorrento & dropped us back after. Really good e-bikes. Unfortunately we couldn’t walk the crater due to windy weather at the top. We have subsequently received a refund for this part of the tour. However, Peter offered us the option to walk the nature trail to the lava river instead which was a great alternative. Highly recommend.

Fantastic day! Highly recommend this tour. Pietro (Peter) was an absolutely wonderful guide. We enjoyed his company on the drive to and from Vesuvius from Sorrento. The bikes were in perfect condition and made for smooth sailing to get to the top of the volcano. We then had a little over an hour at the crater to view on our own before flying down the mountain to the car. It was such a fun way to see Mount Vesuvius, and I am so glad we chose this option for seeing it.

This was a fabulous tour. We were staying in Naples so got the train to Torre del Greco (20 mins) where we were picked up outside the station promptly at 8 by Pietro.
It was just me and my husband and after driving a short distance to the bottom of the road up to Versuvius , bike instructions and transfer of our tickets onto my phone we were off. The electric bikes were fab and Pietro was very friendly, attentive, helpful and informative.
After about an hour ( with a break along the climb) we arrived at the walk to the top section where we left the bikes with Pietro and off we went. It was a hot 35/40 minute walk to the top and then about 20 mins down. We didn't get a view of the bay as it was cloudy but we did get mist rising from Versuvius. brilliant.
The free wheel ride back down was amazing and we had smiles on our faces all the way down, even on some of the more hair-raising bends with the buses coming up.
We really enjoyed the tour and are so glad we did. Slightly sore backsides and aching legs aside this was a once in a lifetime experience. So much better than being herded onto a bus and a really enjoyable few hours.

What to expect
This tour is dedicated to nature and adventure lovers and will make you discover the charm of Vesuvius, one of the most famous dormant volcanoes in the world
Our e-bike tour will start from the Vesuvius valley which we will reach with our van after picking up the participants at the hotel. We will pedal along the road* that climbs up to the crater immersed in the characteristic and lush vegetation of Vesuvius in an atmosphere of incomparable charm and enjoying a breathtaking view of the valley below. As we get closer to the top the vegetation will become more and more barren until it disappears completely. It will seem like you are in a fantasy novel.
Once we reach the top, we will leave the e-bikes and continue on foot to the crater. While you enjoy a panoramic walk along the entire perimeter of the crater, the guides of the National Park will be happy, upon your request, to talk to you about the geology, flora and fauna of Vesuvius, its history and the role it plays in the life of the population lives on its slopes. Once the visit is over we will go back down to the valley and return to the starting point of the van tour.
