Picture this for an experience: you’re a spy, you’re about to start your mission, and you get an email about 20 hours before the event you’ve traveled thousands of miles for… “The event is canceled for “unforeseen circumstances.” well, at least their cancellations are covert. So after paying for flights, hotel, and arranging an expensive babysitting service, Imagine cancels the event with less than a day's notice. So little notice that I can’t cancel the expensive hotel babysitter as it’s less than 24 hours' notice. It’s ok, don’t worry; I’ll foot the bill for that and for anything else messed up by imagine. I would strongly recommend against making plans with this company. It is the height of unprofessionalism to cancel something, with no reason given and with less than a days notice. Their solution? “Oh hey if you’re ever in the UK again you can come by for free” wow that’s great let me just take time off work, book flights arrange childcare again to take the chance that they might provide an experience. Look elsewhere fellow tourists, because you get a Very Unimportant Person experience with these guys.

Initially called Brendan and got a text reply to say that he was no longer with Imagine Experiences. Tried repeatedly to contact them to book my Virgin ‘experience’ via phone / email / their website and still haven’t heard from them to this day. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGEPOLE!! Suspect they’re going out of business, but website still active. 😡

Amazing customer service from start to finish. Brendan responded quickly, Kimberley followed up nearer to the date. On the day, Peter was a wonderful guide. We met other people at the start of the day and every aspect of it was great! Highly recommend 😊

Booked The James Bond Experience for 2 after repeated attempts to book using a voucher (no responses to emails or phone calls). Confirmed booking for 7 January. Booked hotel, transpiration and a babysitter in October. Reached out a couple of days prior to the tour to confirm, no answer to email or phone calls. Finally someone answered (a phone number on the website) but they no longer worked with the company. They went above and beyond to try and help, contacting the owner and asking her to call me. She said she would but never did. I then had the idea to look in my junk email, and there, along with viagra advertisements and spam was an email from 19 December (3 months after booking) saying they were no longer running a tour on that date and offering alternate dates. I did not see this until the day prior and my hotel, transpiration and babysitter was not able to be canceled. I still have yet to be contacted by the company and this sis some of the worst customer service I have experienced. Do not book with this company!!

Fantastic day out even if you are not a huge bond fan. Andrew was a super guide very knowledgeable. Visit to the shooting gallery was great fun and perfume shop was lovely followed by the vodka martini( one is plenty) If you enjoy a good interesting day this is for you. We met nice people on this day out too

Great way to go back to the beginning of Bond through the stories of Ian Fleming and the London spies - great to see different parts of London. Shooting was great fun! Peter is very knowledgeable to a great guide

AndyWLondon

Thoroughly enjoyable day learning about Ian Fleming's background, shooting things and being chauffeured around London. The emphasis is on understanding the background behind the Bond novels and experiencing the Civil Service club, drinking a Vesper cocktail etc. I was blessed to be part of a smaller than usual group for this tour meaning it was just nice also to have fun meeting some fantastic new people.

Our group of six had a fantastic day with Peter! He was very knowledgeable about both James Bond and Ian Fleming. Peter brought history to life for us. From the start with breakfast, through the various stops, and the closing vesper martini, we all had a super time. What a fabulous way to spend a Saturday in London!!

I set this up for my husband but I had a great time too! Peter was a fantastic guide; we learned so much about Ian Fleming and the inspiration behind his characters! We also learned a bit about the real MI6 and British spies, and to be sure truth is often even more incredible than fiction. We had some incredible experiences as well. The air gun range, Floris perfumery, and Vesper martinis at St Ermin’s…all in a small group setting, which we always prefer. Thanks so much for the memories!

I booked this for my husband, who is a big fan of the Bond films from Connery to Craig—but I had a great time too! We love a small group setting. With just us and a father-son duo, it meant dialogue was flexible and we learned about so much from our FANTASTIC guide Peter—including some history and precedents around the passing of the Queen, which sadly happened only the day prior to our tour. We learned about actual British spies, traitors, and Ian Flemming’s ties to the Navy—plus how many of his characters were based on actual people he had met—Peter made it all compelling. We visited some really cool places too. I wasn’t as accurate a shot as the guys (found out I’m left eye dominant, who knew? I got better after that!) but the air gun range was a literal blast! I really enjoyed the visit to British family perfumers Floris. We did plenty of walking but the use of a Mercedes Sprinter van was an excellent use of some of the tour cost. Really the entire day was seamlessly planned out and all we had to do was enjoy ourselves! We certainly enjoyed our Vesper martinis at London’s “hotel of spies”, St Ermin’s! All in all, an incredible day—thanks so much for the memories!!
