    This was the best experience of our vacation to Venice! After two days of getting saturated with tourist spots, we looked forward to seeing Venice through a local's perspective. Our host Laura was so warm and engaging. She gave us a view of life in Venice without the influence of tourist commercialization. We learned how to make risotto and tiramisu--knowledge that will last us a lifetime! For those that want a calmer and more gratifying experience in Venice, this is a must-do. Don't leave Venice without trying this out. You'll be thankful you did!

    My family and I had an amazing experience with our wonderful cook Laura. Her warmth and knowledge made the experience, both educational and personable. We learned how to perfect an Italian dish and dessert that we will make for family and friends when we get back to the states. She shared insights about the city that only locals would know, as well as shared local eateries that she highly recommend. If you’re looking for an authentic experience to immerse yourself in the Venetian culture, I highly recommend taking her class!

    Laura was an amazing host for this awesome cooking class. She was gracious friendly and knowledgeable. Before cooking, she took us on a tour of the local market, which was just charming. She also showed us where to get local wine! The food we made, risotto and tiramasu, was awesome. She also walked us around the area and showed us some local spots. her apartment is off the beaten path so it was neat to see the other side of Venice, we highly recommend this activity if you are visiting venice.

    My boyfriend got this private cooking class on our first trip to Venice and we could not have had a better experience with Laura. We started off the morning exploring and shopping for ingredients in a farm market near her apartment. We went to Laura’s apartment to eat cheese, drink wine, and start cooking a veggie risotto and tiramisu. Everything was absolutely delicious and we would definitely do this tour again! If you have half a day, this is a must do!! Thank you for an incredible experience, Laura!

    Booked this class through TripAdvisor. All went flawless. Laura met us at the prearranged meeting location at the designated time. She showed us the area and we went to a local shop for the wine to use for the meal. A worth walk over to the area where she lives. Right below her apartment was a small farmers market. She explained the meal for the day and purchased the regulated fresh items. We then went to her apartment and prepared the meal. She was very organized and everything was in place. It was just my wife and I. We learned many things about the area and got the chance to lean how life is for a local. We have taken several cooking classes as we travel and strongly suggest the experience. We find that we lean so much about the area and many times meet many wonderful travelers.
