Castello Aragonese
The Aragonese Castle is a massive castle in the middle of the sea, connected to Ischia by a bridge where locals and tourists take long walks. In the past thanks to its strategic position it used to protect the island from enemies and pirates, today it is the symbol of Ischia.

Ischia Ponte is a small village with an interesting history. It is dominated by the presence of the Aragonese Castle, a medieval castle in the middle of the sea. In the past it used to prtect the island by enemies, today it is the landmark of Ischia.

Barano is an adorable little town that you can find while going up to Mount Epomeo. It is a very fertile territory and is covered in greenery and vineyards.
Monte Epomeo
Mount Epomeo is the only mountain in Ischia, so it is the tallest part of the island. From here you can admire at the fabulous view of Naples, Capri, Mount Vesuvius and the sea.
Belvedere di Serrara
Serrara Fontana is the smallest town in Ischia, with very few inhabitants. It is very quiet and from here you can take an even better view of the whole Bay of Naples. This view is unique and cannot be seen nowhere else.
Forio
Forio is the centre of Ischia’s nightlife. It is also home to two other landmarks: the church of Soccorso and the Torrione. From here you can admire ant the most exclusive beach of the island, Citara.
Museo Civico del Torrione
The Torrione is a medieval tower, used by the Aragonese a place to lookout for enemies and pirates, today it is a museum and one of the symbols of Ischia.
Chiesa del Soccorso
The church of Soccorso rises from a rock overlooking the sea. It is a tin white church where you can enjoy an impressive view of the sea.
Fungo Di Lacco Ameno
In greek “lakkos” means stone, in fact Ischia is all made of tuff stone and volcanic stone and offers natural beauties to look at. For example, here you can find the “Fungo”, a mushroom-shaped rock, sculpted by the wind and the waves.
