This Explorers Travel Highlights

  • My Travel Highlight

One of my most cherished travel memories is attending the Ethiopian Christmas service in Lalibela. The experience of being surrounded by thousands of pilgrims, all draped in white, amidst the ancient rock-hewn churches, was truly magical and deeply moving.

  • Favourite Destination

Ethiopia, my birth country, holds a special place in my heart. Returning to explore its historical sites, connect with its diverse cultures, and witness its stunning landscapes always fills me with immense joy and pride. It's an experience that enriches my soul every time.

  • Best Hotel

Mount View Hotel in Lalibela, Ethiopia. As the name suggests, the hotel treats you to spectacular views of the rugged mountains and Ethiopian countryside. A truly magical experience.

  • My Adventurous Destination

The Danakil Depression in Ethiopia is definitely the most adventurous place I've ever visited. Its otherworldly landscapes, with vibrant hot springs, active volcanoes, and vast salt plains, make it feel like another planet. The extreme heat and remote location added an extra layer of excitement and challenge to the experience.

  • My Food Destination

For me, Bangkok is a foodie's paradise. The street food scene is incredible, with so much variety and flavor. I love exploring the local markets and trying all the different dishes, from Pad Thai to Som Tum. The freshness of the ingredients and the bold, spicy flavors make it an unforgettable culinary experience.
