Meet Anthony Mohammed
Hey there! I'm Anthony, a Trini-Canadian software developer with a serious case of wanderlust. I wasn't always a travel blogger. For years, I was just a regular guy coding away in Toronto, but my heart always belonged to the vibrant island of Trinidad, where I was born. I started this blog to share my love for travel, Caribbean culture, and delicious food with the world. Whether you're planning a family vacation, seeking culinary inspiration, or simply dreaming of your next adventure, I hope my stories and tips will inspire you to explore the world with an open heart and a hungry stomach!

My Travel Highlight
One of my most cherished travel experiences was when Priya, Devon and I volunteered at a sea turtle conservation project in Costa Rica. Witnessing those magnificent creatures nesting under the moonlight was simply magical. It was incredible to contribute to their preservation and share that experience with my family. Devon was especially fascinated and it sparked a real passion for wildlife in him.

Favourite Destination
That's a tough one, but I'd have to say Trinidad. Returning to my roots, sharing the island's beauty, culture, and flavors with my family... nothing beats that. The warmth of the people, the rhythms of soca, and the taste of doubles – it's pure joy.

Best Hotel
I really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana in Punta Cana. The kids club was great for Devon, and Priya and I loved the swim-up bar. It had something for everyone, with great food and entertainment.

My Adventurous Destination
Definitely Iceland. Driving the Ring Road, hiking glaciers, and chasing the Northern Lights felt like stepping onto another planet. The raw, untamed landscapes were both humbling and exhilarating.

My Food Destination
Rome, without a doubt! From the pasta to the pizza, and gelato, every meal was a culinary adventure. I've never experienced such consistently delicious food. Each dish was a masterpiece of flavor and tradition. I’m still trying to recreate some of those recipes back home!
