Joseph grew up in the small town of Micoud, Saint Lucia, surrounded by the vibrant culture of the Caribbean. After completing his studies, he felt a pull to explore the world beyond his island home. He moved to Berlin, Germany, seeking new experiences and opportunities. He quickly fell in love with the city's diverse culture and open-minded atmosphere. He met his wife, Greta, at a local bookshop, and they bonded over their shared love for literature and travel. While teaching English to immigrants and expats, Joseph discovered a passion for sharing his travel experiences and insights, leading him to start a travel blog on Evendo as a hobby.
