More about Robert Lewis

Robert grew up in Linstead, Jamaica, surrounded by the vibrant flavors and rhythms of his culture. After graduating from culinary school in Kingston, he sought new opportunities abroad. He moved to Berlin a decade ago, initially working in various restaurants to hone his skills and learn the German language. Missing the taste of home, he opened his own Jamaican restaurant, 'Yaad Vibes,' which quickly became a local favorite. He met his wife, Klara, at a local tech meetup, and they bonded over their shared love for good food and travel. They now live in a cozy apartment in Prenzlauer Berg with their daughter, Naomi.
