We began our day with breakfast at Z@k Cafe and Restaurant. The aroma of freshly brewed Ethiopian coffee filled the air as we settled into a cozy corner. I ordered *ful*, a traditional fava bean dish, while Hans-Peter opted for *injera* with a spicy stew. Lila, ever adventurous, tried a bit of both, her face lighting up with each new flavor. The market was in full swing, vendors hawking their wares, from colorful textiles and fragrant spices to handcrafted jewelry and traditional pottery. I bartered for a beautiful shawl, its intricate embroidery a testament to the skill of Harari artisans. Lila was captivated by the vibrant scene, her eyes wide with wonder as she took in the kaleidoscope of colors and the cacophony of sounds.
