My day began with a hearty breakfast at dar ait bara chez habitant. The morning air was crisp, carrying the scent of mint tea and freshly baked bread. This guesthouse was a delightful find, offering not just a meal but a warm, familial atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and I enjoyed a simple yet satisfying breakfast of traditional Moroccan fare. Fuelling up for the day's adventures, I knew I needed the energy for what lay ahead. As I savored the last sips of my tea, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the simple pleasures of travel and the kindness of strangers. Jana would have loved this place. It reminds me of our trips to the countryside in Czech, where we always find the quaintest little B&Bs.

But as I reached the top, I was rewarded with an incredible view of the gorge, a sense of accomplishment washing over me. I felt alive and invigorated, grateful for the opportunity to push my boundaries and experience the world in a new way. I wished I had brought Jana along; she always encouraged me to try new things, even when I was hesitant.
