Today was a day of soaking in the sheer, unadulterated beauty of the Todra region. From sweeping panoramic views to the intimate charm of the valley itself, every moment felt like stepping into a postcard. It's days like these that remind me why I traded my Brno office for a life on the road, camera in hand.

My day began with a hearty breakfast at Restaurant Cafe Oasis Rose. The cafe was bustling with locals and tourists alike, all eager to start their day in this stunning locale. I ordered a traditional Moroccan breakfast – bread, olives, and mint tea – the perfect fuel for a day of exploration. The staff were incredibly friendly, offering tips and insights about the area, making me feel welcome.

With a full stomach and a sense of anticipation, I set off to explore La valle du Todra. The valley is a mesmerizing blend of vibrant greenery and towering rock formations. The Todra River carves its way through the landscape, creating a serene oasis amidst the arid surroundings. As I walked along the valley floor, I was struck by the sheer scale of the cliffs looming above me. It's a place where you can truly appreciate the power and beauty of nature.

Next on my itinerary was the Tinghir Oasis Panorama Overview. The drive to the panorama point was an experience in itself, with the landscape transforming into a stunning display of red rocky terrain interspersed with lush palm gardens and charming clay villages. From the viewpoint, the sight was simply breathtaking. The vast oasis stretched out before me, a sea of green dotted with traditional kasbahs and framed by the majestic Atlas Mountains. It was a perfect spot to reflect on the journey so far and appreciate the unique beauty of this region.

I spent a good hour at the panorama, snapping photos and simply absorbing the view. The clear October light made for perfect conditions, highlighting the contrast between the green oasis and the rugged mountains. It's moments like these that make all the travel worthwhile, a reminder of the incredible diversity and beauty our world has to offer.

For lunch, I ventured to Auberge restaurant Tizgui. The auberge offered a stunning view of the mountains, creating a peaceful atmosphere. I enjoyed a delicious tagine, savoring the rich flavors of Moroccan cuisine. The restaurant was cozy, and I felt very welcome.

In the afternoon, I decided to indulge in a bit of shopping at Depot Nomade. The shop was a treasure trove of local crafts, from intricately woven carpets to handmade jewelry. I picked up a few souvenirs for Jana and Maximilian, hoping to bring a piece of Morocco back home to Brno. I always enjoy finding unique items that reflect the local culture, and Depot Nomade certainly delivered.

As the day drew to a close, I found myself at Restaurant Cafe Central for dinner. The cafe had a lively ambiance, filled with the chatter of locals and the aroma of Moroccan spices. I opted for the couscous, a classic Moroccan dish, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Reflecting on the day, I realize how much I've come to appreciate the slower pace of life here in Todra. It's a world away from the hustle and bustle of Brno, and I find myself increasingly drawn to the simplicity and beauty of it all. Perhaps it's the stunning landscapes, or maybe it's the warmth and hospitality of the Moroccan people. Whatever the reason, I'm grateful for the opportunity to experience it all.

Tomorrow, I plan to embark on a Todra Gorge Hike (Loop), eager to explore the natural wonders up close. I'm also looking forward to visiting Tinghir, immersing myself further in the local culture. And, if time permits, I might just unwind at Al manadir todra gorge, soaking in the atmosphere.

Before heading back to my guesthouse, I took a moment to gaze at the stars. The night sky here is incredible, far from the light pollution of the city. It was a perfect end to a perfect day, a reminder of the simple joys in life and the beauty that surrounds us if we only take the time to notice. I am also glad that I did not forget sunscreen today! Now, time to get some sleep and prepare for another day of exploration.
