Today was a day of diving deeper into what Guatapé has to offer beyond the iconic El Peñol. Olivia and I set out to explore the Represa Guatapé, experience the natural thrill of El Tobogán, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of Muelle Guatape Extremo. It was a day filled with unexpected delights and authentic Colombian experiences.

Our morning began with a hearty Colombian breakfast at Montano. I opted for the *calentado*, a traditional dish of rice, beans, and eggs, while Olivia enjoyed some *arepas* with cheese. Fuelled up, we headed towards our first destination: the Represa Guatapé.

I finally settled on a small, hand-painted replica of a *zócalo*, a traditional decorative panel found on the buildings in Guatapé. It was a perfect reminder of our time here.
