Next on our itinerary was La Dune Rose. Although it's a bit outside of Mopti, we decided to take a trip to see it. As we approached, the landscape transformed into a mesmerizing expanse of sand, with the dune rising majestically against the horizon. The kids were thrilled, immediately running towards the dune, their small feet sinking into the soft sand. We climbed to the top, hand in hand, and were rewarded with a breathtaking view. The setting sun painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, casting a magical glow over the landscape. It was a sight to behold, a moment frozen in time, etched forever in our memories. We took countless photos, trying to capture the beauty of the moment, but no image could truly do it justice.
