Leaving behind the world of software development for a while, I set out to discover the serene corners of this beautiful region, seeking solace and inspiration in its natural beauty.

My day began with a hearty breakfast at Pelion Plaza Εστιατόριο in Agios Ioannis. The aroma of freshly baked bread and strong Greek coffee filled the air. It was a delightful way to start the day, fueling up for the adventures that awaited. After breakfast, I decided to visit the bench with the wonderful view, a spot I had read about. The walk there was invigorating, the crisp November air carrying the scent of pine and damp earth. I picked up a few souvenirs for Maximilian and Amara, tokens of my journey to bring a piece of Greece back home to Heidelberg.
