Walking
Starting from the central area of Herat, head towards the famous Herat Citadel. Once you reach the Citadel, continue straight on the main road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the main market (Bazaar-e Herat). At the intersection, turn left and follow the road for another 500 meters. You will pass several shops and eateries along the way. Once you see a large water fountain on your right, حوض چهارسو is located just a short distance ahead on the same road, identifiable by its historical architecture and signage.

From the main bus station in Herat, take a local bus or minibus heading towards the city center. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Bazaar-e Herat stop. Once you disembark, walk straight for 5 minutes until you reach the main intersection at the market. Turn left at the intersection and walk for about 500 meters until you spot the large water fountain on your right. حوض چهارسو is a short distance ahead from there.
