Getting There

• Car

Use your GPS or map application and enter the destination as 'Lake Guntersville State Park, 1155 Lodge Dr, Guntersville, AL 35976'. The park is located approximately 60 miles north of Birmingham and 30 miles from Huntsville. Take I-65 N from Birmingham, then merge onto US-431 N towards Guntersville. Follow US-431 N until you reach Guntersville. Once in the city, turn left onto AL-69 S, then take a right onto Lodge Dr, which leads directly into the park entrance. There is no admission fee for entering the park.

  For those using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to Guntersville. From cities like Birmingham or Huntsville, check the Greyhound schedule for available routes. Once you arrive at the Guntersville bus station, you can take a local taxi service or rideshare app like Uber or Lyft to get to Lake Guntersville State Park.
