Driving
From Birmingham, travel south on I-65 to exit 246 for AL-119/Cahaba Valley Rd [5]. Turn right onto AL-119 S, then left onto Oak Mountain Park Rd [5]. At the traffic circle, take the third exit onto John Findlay Dr, then right onto Terrace Dr to enter the park [5]. Alternatively, from the US 280 corridor, a new entry gate is available on Belcher Drive, across from North Shelby Baptist Church [19]. Entrance fees are $5 per adult (ages 12-61), $2 for children (ages 4-11) and seniors (62+). Ages 3 and under, active military, retired military, and veterans are free [3, 5]. Pelham residents may have discounted carload admission [2]. Expect some delays during peak times and special events [2]. Parking is available throughout the park at various trailheads and attractions [4]. A new parking lot is also available at the US 280 entrance [17, 19].
