From the parking area, it's a short, well-marked hike to the falls.

From the Chinnabee Silent Trail parking area, the final approach to Cheaha Falls is a 2.1-mile out-and-back hike along the Chinnabee Silent Trail. The trail is well-marked with blue blazes and is generally considered easy. Follow the trail as it parallels Cheaha Creek, crossing several small streams along the way. The trail leads directly to the top of Cheaha Falls. There are no fees associated with hiking the trail.

To reach Cheaha Falls using public transport, take the Amtrak train or Greyhound bus from Birmingham to Anniston. From Anniston, take a taxi to Cheaha State Park.
