    From I-10, take Exit 35 (Spanish Fort). Head south on US-31/US-90 (the Mobile Bay Causeway). The Five Rivers Delta Center is located on the right, approximately 2 miles from the exit. Parking is free and plentiful.

Five Rivers Delta Center is an 81-acre facility located in Spanish Fort, Alabama, where the Mobile, Spanish, Tensaw, Apalachee and Blakeley rivers flow into Mobile Bay. This convergence creates the Mobile-Tensaw Delta, a remarkable ecosystem encompassing over 250,000 acres of waterways, woods, and wetlands. The center serves as a gateway to exploring this natural wonderland, offering a variety of activities and attractions. Visitors can explore the Apalachee Exhibit Hall, which is currently closed for construction as of May 2025, view a film in the Tensaw Theater, or browse the Cypress Gift Shop. The Delta Hall and surrounding trails provide excellent vantage points for birdwatching, with opportunities to spot Brown Pelicans, Ospreys, herons, and egrets. Hiking trails meander through a grove of live oaks, offering a peaceful escape into nature. Boat tours and kayak rentals are also available for those who want to explore the delta's waterways.
