The museum's exhibits highlight Foley's role in World War II naval aviation history, as many fighter pilots trained at Barin Field, an auxiliary training center for Pensacola Naval Air Station. A newly expanded exhibit showcases photographs, artifacts, and information telling the story of Foley during the conflict. The highlight for many visitors is the 60x20-foot 'O' gauge Model Train Exhibit. This expansive display features a quarter mile of track and a mile of wiring, along with 84 freight cars, 50 passenger coaches, and a replica of the L&N Hummingbird. The museum is located within Heritage Park, a green space that hosts many of Foley's annual events.
