    If driving, navigate to Langan Park. From I-65, take Exit 5 for Springhill Avenue and head west for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left onto John D. New Street, then take an immediate right onto Museum Drive. The museum is the first building on the right. Parking is available in the museum lot.

    From the Mobile Transit Authority (MTA) Transfer Center in downtown Mobile, take the Route 11 bus towards University of South Alabama. Get off at the stop on Museum Drive, near Langan Park. Walk a short distance into the park to reach the Mobile Museum of Art. A single ride on the MTA bus costs $1.25.

The Mobile Museum of Art, established in 1963, has evolved into a premier cultural destination on the Gulf Coast. Housed in a 95,000-square-foot facility since its expansion in 2002, the museum's collection includes the Mary and Charles Rodning Gallery of Asian Art, the Katharine C. Cochrane Gallery of American Art Collection, and the Maisel Gallery of European Art. The Asian collection features ancient Chinese bronzes and ceramics, while the American Gallery showcases furniture, sculpture, and paintings from 1770 onward. The European Gallery offers a broad overview of European paintings, prints, sculpture, and decorative arts. MMofA also hosts special and regional exhibitions, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience with displays such as CRYPIC UNDER WING: Glass and Mixed Media by Rachael Wright and JUAN LOGAN: Without Stopping. MMofA provides diverse multi-disciplinary programs, including film, poetry, dance, and studio art classes for all ages. The Art Store offers works from regional artists for purchase. The museum is a public-private partnership and the largest art museum on the Gulf Coast from New Orleans to Tampa.
