Getting There

Driving
From Gulf Shores, head east on E Beach Blvd/AL-182. Turn left onto AL-135 N/State Park Rd. Continue straight, and the park entrance will be on your left. Parking is $10 per day for personal vehicles. Pay stations are available that accept cash and credit cards. An annual parking pass is available for $100 at the Park Headquarters.

Walking
If you are near the Gulf State Park Beach Pavilion, follow the paved path eastward along the beach. The path will lead you towards the park's main area. From there, follow the signs to your desired destination within the park. Note that the park is quite large, so walking may only be feasible for shorter distances.

Utilize the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail, which offers multiple access points throughout Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Follow the trail map to reach various destinations within Gulf State Park. Bike rentals are available near the Nature Center.
