Getting There

    If you're in central Orange Beach, start at the Orange Beach Community Center located at 27235 Canal Rd, Orange Beach, AL 36561. Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops nearby. From the Community Center, head east on Canal Road (also known as AL-180 E) for about 1.5 miles. Look for the entrance to Gulf State Park on your left. Once inside the park, follow the signs to the Nature Center, which is approximately 0.5 miles from the entrance.

    If you are within walking distance, head to the nearest access point to Gulf State Park, such as the beach access at 1st Street or 2nd Street. From there, walk towards the park entrance located along AL-180 E. Once you reach the Gulf State Park entrance, continue on foot following the signs to the Nature Center, which is about a 0.5-mile walk into the park.
