From Cherokee, Alabama, take US Highway 72 to the Natchez Trace Parkway, then head north for approximately 9.8 miles. The parking area for the trail will be on the right. Parking is free and readily available. There are no fees to access the Natchez Trace Parkway.

    If you are already on the Natchez Trace Parkway, simply follow the paved path to milepost 330.2. The trailhead is easily accessible from the parking area. The trail is a loop, so you will return to the parking area after completing the walk.
