Getting There

  • Driving

    From Houston, Alabama, head south on County Road 62 towards Mt. Olive Road. Turn onto Mt. Olive Road and continue for approximately 3 miles. Look for a small, unmarked parking area on the side of the road near the top of a hill. The trailhead is located just behind the parking area. Parking is free, but limited, especially on weekends. Be prepared to park along the roadside if the lot is full.

    From the parking area, follow the clear, unmarked path behind the mound left from the bulldozer. The path is incredibly short, maybe 100 ft, to the top of the waterfall. Once you get to the top of the waterfall, you can follow the path off to the left to go down a steep incline to get to the bottom of the waterfall. Use caution, as the path can be slippery, especially after rain.
