Getting There

Driving

From Lineville, head north on AL-49 N for approximately 30 minutes. Look for signs indicating the turn-off to Cheaha Road (County Road 42). Follow Cheaha Road west for about 4 miles to the Lake Chinnabee Recreation Area (Forest Road 646) on the left. After turning left onto Forest Road 646, travel 2 miles to the parking lot. A $3 parking permit is required; bring exact change as it's an honor system. Parking is limited, especially on weekends, so arrive early.
