    From Coffeeville, Alabama, drive approximately four miles west on U.S. Highway 84. Follow the signs to the campground entrance, which is located at mile marker 20 on the highway. There is no fee for parking.

Service Park Campground, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is situated along the high banks of Coffeeville Lake, the third largest lake on the Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway in Alabama. The 8,800-acre lake stretches 97 miles, providing ample space for various water activities. The campground features 32 spacious campsites, including two tent-only sites. Each site is equipped with 50-amp electric and water hookups, a picnic table, a lantern holder, and a campfire ring with grill. The facility also provides a bathhouse with hot showers and a laundry room. A playground is available for children. Fishing is a popular activity, with anglers casting for bass, crappie, bream, and catfish. A boat ramp provides easy access to the water. The surrounding mixed pine and hardwood forest is home to diverse wildlife, including wood ducks and bald eagles. Nearby, the Choctaw National Wildlife Refuge encompasses 4,000 acres of Coffeeville Lake, offering opportunities for wildlife viewing and hunting. The town of Coffeeville, originally named Murrell's Landing, was renamed in honor of General John Coffee, a hero of the Creek War of 1813. Today, Coffeeville is known for its excellent hunting and fishing.
