From the center of Kelmendi, drive northwest on the main road (SH20) towards Vermosh. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for signs directing you towards Ujëvara e Gjanve. Turn onto the road leading to Përroi i Gjanve. The waterfall is about 5 kilometers down this road. Parking is available near the waterfall, but space may be limited during peak seasons. Fuel is not available after turning onto SH20, so ensure you have a full tank.
Public Transport
Take a local bus from Kelmendi to Vermosh. Buses operate several times a day, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Vermosh, arrange for a taxi or local shuttle to Ujëvara e Gjanve, as public transport doesn't reach the waterfall directly. Confirm the fare with the driver before the trip; it generally costs around 10-15 euros. A minibus leaves from the Malësia e Madhe restaurant in Shkodër at 14:00 for Vermosh (passing through Selcë and Tamarë), returning at 5:00.
