If you are starting from the Berat Castle, begin your journey by exiting the castle grounds and heading down the hill towards the city center. Make your way to the main road, Rruga Mihal Komnena. Turn left onto this road and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and local cafes along the way. Continue until you reach the intersection with Rruga Rilindja. Turn right onto Rruga Rilindja, and walk for about 5 minutes. The Saint Demetrius Cathedral will be on your left, easily recognizable by its beautiful architecture.
