Shpella e Pëllumbasit (Pëllumbas Cave), also known as the Black Cave, is a karst cave located near the village of Pëllumbas, roughly 25 km southeast of Tirana, Albania. The cave is known for its stalactites and stalagmites and evidence of prehistoric human habitation.

Walking
From Pëllumbas village, follow the marked trail towards the cave. The hike is roughly 2 km and takes about 45 minutes to an hour. The trail is well-maintained but can be steep and rocky in places. There is no entrance fee for the trail or the cave.
Public Transport
From Tirana South East terminal, take a bus towards Pëllumbas or Iba village. Buses to Berzhite may also work, but will require a longer walk. From Pëllumbas or Iba, follow the walking directions to the cave. Bus tickets cost around 80 Lek. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as departures may be limited.
Taxi
Take a taxi from Tirana to Pëllumbas village. The ride is approximately 25 km and takes about 45 minutes. Taxi fares range from 1500-2500 Lekë. From the village center, follow the walking directions to reach the cave. There is no parking fee in the village.
