The seven-arch structure stretches 129 meters in length and 5.3 meters in width, standing approximately 10 meters above the average water level. The arches give the bridge an elegant look that complements the surrounding landscape.Local legend tells of a time when the original wooden bridge contained a dungeon where a girl was imprisoned and starved as a sacrifice to appease the spirits responsible for the bridge's safety. During a restoration, a sculpture representing a woman's head on a pylon was discovered, adding to the mystical nature of the bridge.
