    From Theth, begin your hike towards Nderlysaj village, roughly 6 km away. Follow the road along the river. From Nderlysaj, locate the Vaskat Nderlysaj trail. The trail to Syri i Kaltër is approximately 2.5 km and is mostly uphill. The hike from Nderlysaj to Syri i Kaltër takes about 40-50 minutes. There is no entrance fee.

    Hire a taxi in Theth to take you to Nderlysaj, the starting point of the short hike to Syri i Kaltër. A round trip taxi ride, including wait time, costs approximately 4000-5000 LEK (40-50 EUR). From the parking area in Nderlysaj, follow the trail for about 40-50 minutes to reach the Blue Eye. There is no entrance fee.

The water temperature remains consistently cold throughout the year, adding to the refreshing atmosphere of the site.Visitors can reach the Blue Eye through a scenic hike from Theth, which takes around 2.5 to 3 hours each way. The trail leads through the picturesque landscapes of the Albanian Alps, passing through the village of Nderlysaj. Alternatively, you can drive to Nderlysaj and then hike for about 40 minutes to the Blue Eye. The hike from Nderlysaj involves a moderately challenging uphill trek followed by an easier walk through a beech forest, culminating in the breathtaking view of the Blue Eye. A wooden platform overlooks the pool, offering stunning views.Swimming is permitted, though the water is very cold. Even if you don't brave the chilly waters, relaxing on the rocks near the water's edge and taking in the scenery is a worthwhile experience.
