Elbasan Arena, formerly known as Ruzhdi Bizhuta Stadium, has been a cornerstone of Elbasan's sporting identity since 1967. Named after a famous player from KF Elbasani, the stadium replaced outdated facilities, becoming the home ground for the local team. In 2014, a significant €5.5 million investment transformed the arena to meet UEFA standards, including new floodlights, 12,500 plastic seats, modern changing rooms, and a new playing surface.With a seating capacity of 12,800, Elbasan Arena is the third-largest stadium in Albania. It gained prominence when it hosted Albania's Euro 2016 qualifying matches. The stadium's renovation revitalized the community, turning it into a popular tourist spot, especially during international games.
