Getting there

Walking

From Berat's main bus station, head north towards the city center and the historic Mangalem Quarter. Follow signs leading to the historic district, enjoying the Ottoman-era architecture along the way. The walk to the Rooftop View takes approximately 30 minutes. Use a map to pinpoint the exact location.

Public Transport

From Berat's main bus station, look for buses heading towards Tomorr Mountain or nearby villages. A bus ride costs around 150-200 ALL. From the bus stop, you may need to walk or take a local taxi to the trailhead, costing approximately 500 ALL. Follow signs leading to the hiking trail, and prepare for a 30-minute hike to reach Rooftop View.

Car

From the center of Berat, head southeast on Rruga Mihal Komnena towards Rruga Vangjel Shkurtaj. Continue onto Rruga Teodor Tashko. After about 5 km, take the left fork onto Rruga Tomorrit. Follow this road for approximately 10 km until you reach the designated parking area near the trailhead for Rooftop View. Parking may incur a small fee, typically around 200 ALL. From the parking area, follow the marked hiking trail to reach Rooftop View, which is about a 30-minute hike.
