Getting There

Car

From Gramsh, follow the main road northwest (SH71) and turn right at Drizë. The road through the village has some damage. After 1km, veer right at the intersection where there is a small and very faded sign indicating Holta Canyon, or Kabashit Cave. The last kilometer of the road is unpaved but manageable. Parking is available near the canyon entrance. Fuel costs should be considered.

Take a bus to or from Gramsh and get off on the main road (SH89 / SH71) at the intersection for Drizë. From there, it's a 10km hike along the road to get to the canyon. Bus fares from Tirana to Gramsh range approximately 200-300 Lek. A taxi or shared van from Gramsh to the canyon may cost around 1000-1500 ALL.
