Tirana Park, also known as the Grand Park of Tirana (Parku i Madh i Tiranës), is a sprawling green oasis in the heart of Albania's capital. Built between 1955 and 1956 based on a Bulgarian plan, the park was initially called the Gogo stable area and later named after the Saint Procopius Church located within its boundaries. The park's centerpiece is a 55-hectare artificial lake, created in 1955, offering fishing and swimming opportunities. The surrounding landscape boasts around 120 species of trees, bushes, and flowers, contributing to the park's rich biodiversity.
